Gantry Promotes Joe Foley to Director with Firm’s Commercial Mortgage Production Team

New Role Relocates Foley from San Francisco to Los Angeles to Commence with Earning his Price Dollinger Master in Real Estate Development Degree at the University of Southern California (USC) and Leading Commercial Real Estate Finance Assignments for Gantry’s Clients, Correspondents and Affiliate Lenders
Gantry, the largest independent commercial mortgage banking firm in the U.S., has promoted Joe Foley to the role of Director within the firm’s client-facing loan production team. His new role will see him relocate from San Francisco to Los Angeles, where he will commence with earning his master in real estate development degree from USC while working from the firm’s El Segundo office. In his Director role, Joe will focus on developing new client assignments and a self-directed book of commercial real estate finance business. He will also continue to collaborate on client assignments with Gantry’s National loan production teams serving clients across the nation from 12 regional offices.

Foley joined Gantry in 2023 as an Associate and has since participated in more than $2 billion in CRE financing transactions. His experience includes permanent, bridge, and construction loans across all asset categories, including industrial, self-storage, retail, multifamily, office, and mixed-use property types. His experience includes forging strong relationships with Gantry’s exclusive roster of life company correspondents and bank, agency, CMBS, and debt fund lenders. Joe graduated from Santa Clara University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in economics and is currently attending one of the most prestigious MRED programs in the country at the University of Southern California to further his education in development. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Commercial Real Estate Finance Council (CREFC), California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA), Bay Area Mortgage Association (BAMA), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), CCIM Institution (CCIM), and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
