Stephan Coste joined the Gantry platform in 2024 as a Senior Director, bringing a reputation for reliability, responsiveness, and delivering deal certainty of execution. Widely recognized for his extensive connections across Southern and Northern California, Stephan works with clients nationwide throughout the Continental United States.
Prior to joining Gantry, Stephan spent a decade as a Producer at Q10|Westcap, where he managed the Los Angeles office, before transitioning to Orange County while continuing to serve his Southern California clients.
With expertise spanning permanent, refinance, construction, and bridge lending, Stephan is skilled at structuring complex capital stacks, leveraging his vast network of equity relationships. Over his career, he has facilitated over $1.2 billion in financing across various asset classes including industrial, multifamily, office, retail, storage, data centers, student housing, and land deals. These transactions have been capitalized by insurance companies, banks, debt funds, and private equity groups. His diverse client base includes ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) investors, family offices, private developers, and semi-institutional groups.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Stephan oversees his family office’s commercial real estate portfolio, encompassing numerous properties across California and Texas.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco with a degree in Finance, Stephan enjoys spending his free time with his family, mountain biking, skiing, and playing golf, tennis & pickleball.
