Stefan Malmlund is a Director in Gantry’s Orange County office. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has been involved in over $500 million in loan financing across a wide range of commercial real estate assets. His experience includes permanent, construction, and value-add loans for property types such as retail, multifamily, industrial, and office, as well as specialized assets like self-storage and manufactured housing. He sources capital from life insurance companies, banks, credit unions, CMBS lenders, and debt funds.

Prior to Gantry, Stefan began his career at a national private lender, where he progressed from Analyst to Relationship Manager. During that time, he developed a strong foundation in underwriting, loan structuring, and borrower relations.

Stefan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and is active in the Southern California real estate finance community.
