Mark Ritchie is a principal of Gantry, the largest independent mortgage banking firm in the United States and brings more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance. Based in Los Angeles, he has completed billions in financing over hundreds of transactions throughout his career, spanning all major property types and capital structures. Mark is widely recognized for his ability to structure creative solutions and has been at the forefront of financing structures now commonly used throughout the industry. He has advised some of the largest owners of real estate in the world.
Mark leads industry efforts in utilizing private capital to solve critical housing issues. He is a tireless advocate for innovative strategies in getting unhoused off the streets, including helping solve vet homelessness.
As an active participant in industry leadership, Mark has spoken on a range of real estate finance topics for industry groups including the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is past President and Co-founder of the UCLA Real Estate Alumni Group, a Ziman Associate at the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate and has served as a guest lecturer at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Mark’s board experience includes Board of Governor for the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and Board Member of the National Federal Development Association, where he is the co-head of its Policy Committee.
