Jean Yee is the Servicing Director in Gantry’s San Francisco office. She manages the $20 billion loan servicing portfolio and its servicing team. Having spent 20+ years as a Portfolio Manager, she is focused on management, mentorship and talent development for the firm’s servicing division. This requires her to train and oversee the work of junior members of the team, while fostering growth to every member of the team, both junior and veteran, to innovate, problem-solve, identify best practices and be mindful with client relationships for the servicing department.
Jean joined Gantry in its early years in 1995 and has been instrumental in building the company and servicing portfolio to what it is today. In 2004, she was in Gantry’s Los Angeles office on its first day of operation and helped set up Gantry’s first Southern California branches. From her early days at Gantry, she recognized the value of relationships in the business and elected to grow her career in Servicing, where she uses her strong relational and analytical skills to work with lenders, borrowers, and internally at Gantry. As a result of her long tenure, she enjoys many established relationships from the industry. Prior to Gantry, she worked in retail bank operations at Wells Fargo Bank.
Jean is a graduate of California State University East Bay with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate Management. In 2024, she was named Woman of Influence by Globe St.
Outside of Gantry, Jean enjoys many forms of dance, was an avid Lindy Hop Swing dancer in San Francisco for many years and is currently taking Hip Hop classes. She is also regularly seen working with preschool aged children at a local church, as well as hanging out with her family and their two dogs.
