Anakin Downer is a Loan Administrator at Gantry’s Seattle, Washington office, where he supports the firm’s commercial real estate lending portfolio through loan servicing, insurance compliance, borrower communication, and portfolio reporting. He brings a strong analytical foundation and a long-term focus on advancing into asset management and debt and equity brokerage.

He began his real estate career as a commissioned notary at eighteen, later working in Sales Development at Chicago Title Insurance Company and interning with Matthews Real Estate Investment Services. Before joining Gantry, Anakin served as a Salesforce Administrator at Avenue5 Residential, where he built automated business processes, managed enterprise-level data operations, and improved workflow efficiency across the organization.

Anakin is a CLE Ferguson Fellow and plans to pursue the CMBS certificate through MBA Education to deepen his expertise in commercial mortgage-backed securities and capital markets. He holds a B.S. in Communication with a minor in Real Estate from Arizona State University.

Outside of work, Anakin builds AI-driven applications, trains for competitive bodybuilding, snowboards in the winter, wake surfs in the summer, and enjoys golfing.
