About Tony
Tony Kaufmann is a Director in Gantry’s San Francisco office. Since joining Gantry, Tony has originated over $1B in commercial real estate financing transactions. These transactions are spread across the United States and range from permanent loans to structured financing to ground-up development deals. Tony works with a variety of capital sources, including Gantry’s esteemed roster of institutional life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, banks, credit unions, and debt funds to fulfill the financing needs of CRE investors and developers.
In 2021 alone, Tony closed in excess of $450MM in loans. Due in large part to the profile of his clients, Tony has carved out a niche as a market expert in the arrangement of loans for industrial and R&D projects throughout the country.
Tony is an active member of several professional real estate organizations, including the Mortgage Banker’s Association, NAIOP and ULI, and volunteers as a chapter advisor for Dreidel AZA, a Jewish youth group associated with BBYO.
